encounter.
This will be my shortest post yet, because I'm just recounting the event today. I was picking out books in Kinokuniya, when a staff member (the manager, most probably) told me to take my book and clear a path in the area. Clear a path? For whom?
There were plenty of clues, if I had been observant. If only I had noticed the several white state cars outside the shopping centre. Or the strangely increased number of CISCO security guards. Or the announcement telling ALL staff to meet in the meeting room.
Obviously, this was no ordinary person. How ordinary can you be, anyway, when you have 10 or so Secret Service guards protecting you at all times? The Indonesian President, Mr Yudhoyono, was here to shop! At a bookstore, no less!
I was one of the few curious souls who kept trying to grab a glimpse of the important guest, and fortunately the guards caught on to my intentions, allowing me to have a clear view of the President (how dangerous can a 16-year-old like me possibly be? xD), busy reading magazines.
So, it seems, politicians have a life too xD
